About Us
Founder, Zach Field, owner of Zach Field Drums & Music, has taught hundreds of percussion students throughout his career. He developed a color-coded system to teach students how to play drums. While the system worked great, Zach felt limited by the time and effort it took to generate new lessons, so he enlisted a former student and software developer to help create Drumroom. Zach uses Drumroom in his own teaching facilities and has seen positive results in areas of student retention, motivation to practice and ease of teaching students of all ages and level. Drumroom has truly expanded the ability to teach students as young as five, both individually and in a group class setting.
